The Westin Desaru Coast Resort

PLM oversaw the construction of the Westin Desaru Coast Resort, situated in Desaru Johor. The fresh hotel design places an emphasis on strong and vibrant aesthetics, and our team exhibited its full range of capabilities to deliver a luxurious fit out.

Our scope includes the main hotel reception, all day dining restaurant including AL-fresco area, full-purpose gym, Wellness Spa, kids club and business center across nearly 50,000 sq ft of hotel space. This project was delivered in 2019, after an 11 months project duration.

The main features includes the wave profiled ceiling design at the main lobby. High quality timber wall panels were installed to the dining areas, public spaces, and lounge areas.

The business and conferencing meeting rooms, with ample break-out spaces, can accommodate smaller functions and are fitted with acoustic fabric panel walls and profiled ceilings.
