The Sabah International Convention Centre

The Sabah International Convention Centre is the latest Iconic Landmark In Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. It is set to propel Sabah into the top MICE destination in Asia.

A purpose built facility complex constructed over a 5 levels of approximately 100,000sf of space to house the Convention and Exhibition Hall, Performing Arts Hall and Meeting Rooms.

PLM was commissioned to undertake the entire Interior Fit-out of the 60,000SF expansive column-free Convention and Exhibition Hall with retractable partition system dividing into three sections. Each multi-purpose Hall / Section is able to cater for 1,500 delegates. The Hall is finished with costumed designed acoustic compliance wall and ceiling feature panels. The lighting and sound equipment design and installation is integrated into the ceiling and walls. The designer carpet finishes help accentuate the entire space.

Apart from being a world class exhibition and convention facility the Convention and Exhibition Hall is also designed to cater for large banquets. This space extends to the Pre-Function areas at Level 4 and the conference meeting / dining / cocktail areas at Level 5.
