Malaysia Institute of Accountants

MIA was established under the Accountants Act 1967 as the Malaysian statutory body that regulates, develops, supports and enhances the integrity and status of the accounting profession while upholding the public interest.

In March 2016 PLM was entrusted to provide demolition services, architectural and steel structure works, glazing works, internal wall & partitioning, all joinery & ironmongeries works, all finishes, built-in furniture and MEP services for MIA’s new 28,000 square feet office.

A key challenge that was overcome in this project was the fabrication, transportation and installation of the curved steel staircase, which included segmented glass and a stainless steel handrail. PLM’s experienced construction team was able to deliver the project in 16 weeks and within budget.
